The 2026 World Series (branded as the 2026 World Series presented by Capital One) is the upcoming championship series of Major League Baseball's (MLB) 2026 season. The 122nd edition of the World Series, the best-of-seven playoff series will be played between the American League (AL) champion (either the Cleveland Guardians or the Tampa Bay Rays) and the National League (NL) champion (either the Los Angeles Dodgers or the Milwaukee Brewers). The series is scheduled to begin on October 23, with a possible Game 7 scheduled for October 31.[1] The NL champion will have home-field advantage since both remaining NL teams have better regular-season records than the remaining AL teams.
