This template is used to configure the articles found in the Nhân vật được chọn or Tiểu sử được chọn section found on most Wikipedia Portal main pages. Use it on the article pages that are linked to the Selected person sub-page, e.g. Chủ đề:Foo/Selected person/1. For the quickest and easiest way to create the Chủ đề:Foo/Selected bar sub-page and related article links, use one of the {{Numbered subpages}} templates.

Cách sử dụng
[sửa mã nguồn]It is unnecessary to include braces, quotation marks or other wiki-markup in the template. The |text= field does allow the use of wiki-markup at the contributor's discretion.
- image - Places an image relating to the subject of the article on the left side of the section.
- size - Sets the image size, if left out or left blank it will default to 250px.
- side - Set the location of the image here, it will default to left if no side is specified. Use right or center as the variable.
- caption- Creates a caption for the image.
- name - Adds the name of the person at the top left corner of the article, automatically bolded
- born - Adds the person's birth date, format is at contributor's discretion. Requires the name field.
- died - Adds the person's death date, format is at contributor's discretion. Requires the born and name fields.
- text - A brief summary of the subject.
- link - Sets the link in the Đọc thêm... that points to the full article. Required.
- archive - Using this field with a value of no will remove the Thêm tiểu sử được chọn... link in the lower left corner. Use this field if you are using the |footer= parameter in the {{random box-header subpage}} template on the main portal page.

[sửa mã nguồn]The long form of this template places the subjects name immediately to the left of the portrait and gives you the option of adding birth and death years. If the |born= field is not included, the template will not include the |died= field.

Because the |name= field formats the subject's name so that it is in bold text, it is suggested that you do not put the subject's name in bold in the text of the article.
