The Belltown Hellcat refers to a car driven by Miles Hudson in Seattle, Washington, United States.[1][2][3][4] The car's modifications cause it to be extremely loud. In 2024, the city began receiving noise complaints about the Hellcat driving loudly at night. Some citizens claimed the car backfiring sounded like gunfire. The city issues a noise ordinance violation on March 29. Hudson ignored the deadline to make his vehicle quieter.[5] Further incidents, which included being clocked at speeds of 107 miles per hour, resulted in him being banned from driving that car for a year.[6]
In 2025, Hudson was jailed for 30 days for recklessly driving the modified car.[7]
Hudson claims he recorded videos of driving the car for entertainment. He refused to take his car to a racetrack.[8]
