Dave's Picks Volume 58 is an upcoming live album by the American rock band Grateful Dead. It was recorded on December 18, 1973, at Curtis Hixon Hall in Tampa, Florida. It is scheduled for release on April 24, 2026. It will be a part of the ongoing live album archival series Dave's Picks, a series overseen by and named after David Lemieux, the tape archivist for the band.[1][2]
Some copies of the album will include a bonus disc with songs from the December 12, 1973 concert at Omni Coliseum in Atlanta.[2]
Background
[edit]On December 18 and 19, 1973, the band performed at Curtis Hixon Hall in Tampa, Florida.[3][4] This album documents the first of the two performances.[1] The second of the two was released on the first volume in the Dick's Picks series of albums, overseen by and named after Dick Latvala, a tape archivist for the band.[5]
