3 Trey Records (Originally known as Trey Records in industry circles) is a record label founded by Lester Sill and Lee Hazlewood in 1959 with distribution by Atlantic Records.[1][2] Phil Spector learned music production at Trey and released two singles under the group-name The Spectors Three, Spector learned music production at Trey, then went to work with Lieber and Stoller,[3] and later partnered with Lester Sill in the Philles Records label.[4]

3 Trey Records is not associated with the cajun label of the same name (Trey) an imprint of Eddie Schuller's Goldband Records label.[5]
