AMAKA, formerly known as Jessica Nwokike (born April 24, 1993), is a Nigerian American singer and songwriter known for her chameleon-esqe vocal range and creating hits with her sister in R&B duo group, VanJess. VanJess set the stage for AMAKA's future success with their contribution on long time collaborator, Kaytranada‘s Grammy winning album, Bubba and her first solo EP OASIS.
