Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies. Declined by LuniZunie 30 days ago. |

Aircall
[edit]Aircall is a cloud-based customer communications software company that provides a Voice over IP (VoIP) business phone and messaging platform for sales and customer support teams. The company was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Paris and Seattle and operates internationally.[1].
History
[edit]Aircall was founded in 2014 in Paris by Olivier Pailhès, Jonathan Anguelov, Pierre-Baptiste Béchu, and Xavier Durand [2]. The company was created within Hexa (formerly eFounders), a startup studio focused on incubating software-as-a-service companies.
In 2016, Aircall raised an $8 million Series A round led by Balderton Capital with participation from FJ Labs and Newfund [2][3]. Aircall later raised a $29 million Series B in 2018 and a $65 million Series C in 2020 [4]. In June 2021, Aircall raised a $120 million Series D led by Goldman Sachs Asset Management [5], reaching a valuation above $1 billion, making Aircall the sixteenth French technology unicorn [6].
In December 2023, Scott Chancellor was appointed Chief Executive Officer, succeeding co-founder Olivier Pailhès [7]. Chancellor previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Humu until its acquisition by Perceptyx in 2023 [8]. He also served as Chief Product and Technology Officer at Apptio before joining Humu [9]. Earlier in his career, Chancellor spent more than seven years at Amazon Web Services, where he founded and led the AWS Insights organization as General Manager [7][9].
Financial Performance
[edit]According to Les Echos, Aircall surpassed $200 million in annual recurring revenue in 2025 and reported that it had reached profitability [10].
Platform & Technology
[edit]Aircall provides a cloud-based voice and messaging platform delivered through web, desktop, and mobile applications. According to Forbes Advisor and TechRadar, the platform includes call management features such as routing, queuing, interactive voice response (IVR), and messaging capabilities [11][12]. The platform provides application programming interfaces (APIs) and supports integration with customer relationship management and helpdesk systems [11][12].
In 2025, Aircall launched an AI Voice Agent designed to help businesses handle calls outside standard business hours [1]. According to Business News Daily, Aircall provides AI-powered features such as call summaries and sentiment analysis [13]
