| Submission declined on 1 January 2026 by MelbourneIdentity (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

Amplla a.s. is a Czech company that manufactures portable fire extinguishers. The company was established in 2019 and is based in Hlinsko, Czech Republic.[1][2]
History
[edit]Amplla was founded in 2019 by architect Přemysl Kokeš.[1] The product design was developed with architect Zuzana Ambrožová and designer David Rosinai.[3][4] Kokeš reported that the design originated from his experience with a fire at a historic building in 2017.[1][3] Michal Popov serves as chief executive officer.[1]
Products
[edit]The company produces fire extinguishers with a flat, ring-shaped pressure vessel. Two models are manufactured: The SafeRing (basic unit) and The SafeMaker (with external cover). The units have a depth of approximately 80–90 mm from the mounting surface.[5][3]
Specifications
[edit]The extinguishers are certified under European standard EN 3-7 and comply with the Pressure Equipment Directive.[5] Two variants are available: a P21 model with 4 kg of ABC powder (fire rating 21A 113B C) and a P34 model with 6 kg of powder (fire rating 34A 183B C). Both use nitrogen propellant and are rated for temperatures from −30 °C to +60 °C.[5]
The design includes a carrying strap and one-handed operation capability.[5][3] The SafeMaker model has a customizable external cover.[6][4]
Awards
[edit]The products have received design awards:
- iF Design Award Gold (2022)[7][1]
- Red Dot Design Award Product Design (2022)[8][4]
- Czech Grand Design Manufacturer of the Year (2022)[9]
The extinguishers were exhibited at Expo 2020 in Dubai.[1][2]
Media coverage
[edit]The design has been reported in design publications Core77,[3] Designboom,[6] and Global Design News,[5] as well as in Czech media including Forbes.cz[1] and CzechDesign.cz.[4]
