Comment: Not seeing any in-depth secondary coverage about Tang that would warrant a page separate from Hero Esports, given that the page is largely just about what Tang has done to facilitate growth as executive of that business. VRXCES (talk) 23:55, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
Danny Tang (born 30.10.1980) (Chinese name 唐丹妮) is a Chinese esports executive and investor.
Tang is co-founder and CEO of Hero Esports, the largest esports company in Asia.[1], and a promoter of esports growth in China, regionally and globally.[2][3]
Hero Esports, co-founded with executive chairman Dino Ying, develops domestic and regional esports competitions, in Asia, Europe and North America[4]; and on a global stage through organisations such as the Olympic Esports Week; and esports series at the Jakarta Asian Games and the Hangzhou Asian Games. The Hero Esports Asian Champions League tournament series was launched in 2025 as Asia's largest multi-genre mobile esports competition[5]; initial estimates of the live audience for the tournament final alone exceeded 16,000,000 globally.[6]
Tang has directed Hero Esports' strategic development of the US$2 billion esports ecosystem, including pilot-testing artificial intelligence systems such as DeepSeek to streamline operations[7][8]
