Go Dharmic is a humanitarian charity founded on the Hindu principles of Dharma. [1]

History and work

[edit]

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the organisation provided meals to international students and others in need of urgent food assistance. [2] In India, it mobilised a team of approximately 1,500 volunteers to support overstretched hospitals. [3]

In 2021, the organisation opened The Good Karma Store in the former Gap premises on Hampstead High Street, selling goods produced by rural women in India. [4]

During the UK cost-of-living crisis, it continued to provide free meals to vulnerable families, reporting that it has served approximately 15 million meals nationwide. [5][6]

In 2024, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak volunteered with the charity,[7] and in 2025 Indian classical singer Anup Jalota collaborated with Go Dharmic on the project A Song for Dharma. [8]

Awards and nominations

[edit]
  • In 2023, they received a Points of Light award from the UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.[9]
