Oliver McCann, known professionally as imoliver, is an artificial intelligence music designer. He generates music of multiple genres, including indie pop, electro soul, and country rap.[1]
As opposed to traditional musicians, imoliver has no musical background, meaning he does not sing or play any instruments.[1] In the creation of songs, imoliver stated that he creates "100 different versions of a song by prompting and re-prompting the AI system."[1]
On July 14th, 2025, imoliver signed a record deal with Hallwood Media, becoming the first AI-assisted artist to sign with a traditional record label.[2]
