Latin chi (majuscule Ꭓ, minuscule ꭓ) is a letter of the extended latin alphabet used in the writing of Comox and Halkomelem, or languages of Italy like central-southern Calabrian and Salentino; and which was used in the Lepsius Standard Alphabet. Its sound and glyph are both derived from the Greek small letter Chi (χ).
Usage

[edit]Sébastien Rale used Latin chi (as well as Latin theta) in his Abenaki Latin alphabet in the 17th or 18th century.

Lepsius
[edit]Latin chi was also used in the Lepsius Standard Alphabet[1], published in 1855 and revised in 1863.
Susu
[edit]
Latin chi was used in the Susu spelling used in the tradition of the Gospel of Matthew published in 1869[2].
Kashubian
[edit]

In Kashubian, Stefan Ramułt used Latin chi in Słownik języka pomorskiego czyli kaszubskiego (Dictionary of the Pomeranian or Kashubian language) published in 1893.[3]
