Patrick Rubinstein (born 1960) is a French contemporary artist who works in kinetic and optical art[1]. He creates art on accordion-folded panels. When you view it from the left, you see one image. From the right, you see a second image. And when you stand directly in front, a third image appears.
Exhibitions
[edit]In 2025, he held the exhibition Illusions croisées [2][3] ("Crossed Illusions") at Dalí Paris, a museum dedicated to Salvador Dalí in Montmartre. The exhibition explored themes shared by both artists, including time, dreams, butterflies, and optical illusions.
