History
[edit]Reslink was co-founded in 2023 by Shashank Jha and Kalyan Tarafdar. Shashank is an alumnus of IIT Delhi. According to YourStory, the founding team included Shashank and Kalyan Tarafdar.[3]
The company initially operated as an R&D-on-demand company before shifting towards the development of its own renewable energy software and technology platforms. YourStory reported that the name Reslink was derived from "Researcher's link to the world".[3]
In 2025, YourStory reported on Reslink's broader renewable energy technology work, including solar inverter and energy storage related systems.[3] Later coverage in 2026 described the company primarily through its software platform for solar EPC workflows.[1][2]

According to Inc42, the platform enables 3D solar design, shadow analysis, energy simulation, bill of materials planning, proposal generation and project management from a smartphone.[2] Mercom India reported that Reslink connects site assessment, 3D design, shadow analysis, energy simulation, financial modelling and proposal generation in a single workflow.[1]
Mercom India also reported that Reslink had onboarded more than 4,500 EPC companies within four months of launch across India, the United States, the United Kingdom and parts of Asia Pacific.[1]
Proposal automation and financial modelling
[edit]Reslink's proposal automation workflow is focused on helping solar EPC companies generate customer-facing solar proposals from project design data. According to company materials, the platform supports CAPEX and OPEX proposal generation from the same 3D design, along with yield simulation, shadow analysis and return on investment outputs.[4]
The company also describes its workflow as using the 3D design as the source for proposal generation, bill of electrical outputs and project documentation.[5]
Bill of materials and project documentation
[edit]According to company materials, Reslink generates bill of materials outputs from the 3D model, including bills of electrical and bills of structure. These outputs include AC and DC cable quantities, distribution boards, lightning arrestors, MC4 connectors, earthing components, purlins, rafters and mounting specifications.[5]
The company also states that the platform can generate project documentation such as single-line diagrams, layout drawings and string drawings from the design workflow. Reslink's own materials describe these outputs as part of its bank-ready document package for EPCs and developers.[4]
Funding
[edit]According to YourStory, Reslink was bootstrapped with Rs 2.5 lakh and raised Rs 1 crore in a seed round led by Chandigarh Angels Network, Azhar Iqubal, founder of Inshorts, and IIMA Ventures in 2023.[3]
