Sax Lift is a Danish manufacturer and supplier of industrial lift tables and related material-handling equipment, based in Vejen, Denmark. The company produces stationary and mobile scissor lift tables and provides customized lifting solutions for industrial clients worldwide.[1] Sax Lift's product range includes standard and bespoke hydraulic lift tables designed for warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, and other material-handling applications.
History
[edit]Sax Lift was founded in 1993[2] in Vejen, a town in the Region of Southern Denmark. The company began as a specialist in hydraulic lift tables and over time expanded its product portfolio to include a broad array of mobile and customized lifting platforms.
In 2019, Sax Lift entered into an investment agreement with the Danish private equity firm VækstPartner Kapital,[3] with the firm acquiring a majority equity stake in the company. At the time, the company reported serving well-known industrial clients across Europe and anticipated significant revenue growth.
In early 2023, Sax Lift was sold to the Swedish industrial group Indutrade AB,[4] a publicly traded engineering conglomerate, following a period of record growth driven in part by increased demand during the COVID-19 pandemic. Under Indutrade, Sax Lift continued to produce standard and custom scissor lift tables with reported annual sales in excess of SEK 130 million.[5]
Operations and Products
[edit]Sax Lift operates as a mechanical and industrial engineering company with headquarters in Vejen and a presence in multiple European markets. It employs several dozen staff and maintains significant inventory levels to support rapid fulfillment of customer orders.
The company's product range comprises stationary hydraulic lift tables, mobile scissor lift tables, and customized lifting solutions[6] suited to a wide range of industrial needs. Sax Lift asserts it has one of the largest in-stock lift table product portfolios in northern Europe, with more than 2,000 units held in inventory at any time to facilitate fast delivery.
Products are offered in various configurations, including low-profile units, heavy-duty lift tables capable of carrying multiple tonnes, galvanised and stainless-steel variants for demanding environments, and solutions compliant with ATEX standards for hazardous areas.
Market and Reach
[edit]Sax Lift supplies equipment to thousands of companies throughout the European Union and is recognized within industrial supply networks as a significant provider of scissor lift tables and material-handling solutions. Its products are used in logistics, manufacturing, automotive, and other sectors requiring ergonomic lifting and handling systems.
The company's emphasis on high inventory levels, rapid response, and customized engineering support is frequently highlighted in its corporate messaging and supplier listings.
Corporate Structure
[edit]Originally established as an independent Danish company, Sax Lift operated (CVR: 17326589) with its main address located on Engvej in Vejen, Denmark. The company's industry classification spans industrial manufacturing and material-handling equipment production.
Following acquisition by Indutrade in 2023,[7] Sax Lift became part of Indutrade's broader portfolio of industrial technology companies, integrating into the group's Mechanical Solutions segment.
