Jezik (lit. "Language") is a Croatian language literary magazine published in Croatia by the Croatian Philological Society since 1952. Its editors-in-chief have included Ljudevit Jonke and Stjepan Babić.[1]
The magazine is known for its annual Dr. Ivan Šreter Award for the best neologism.[2]

Questions of language are discussed in the journal Jezik, which is devoted to the cultivation of the language (Ger Redekultur, E also 'linguistic ecology'). This journal conducts an annual competition for the 'best' and 'worst' word of the year.
