Kennedy Stringfellow (born January 17, 2005) is an American sprinter and Long jump athlete. He competes for the Oklahoma Sooners.
Early life
[edit]Kennedy Stringfellow graduated from Brandon High School in Brandon, Mississippi with honors as the Mississippi High school long jump record holder 7.725 m (25 ft 4 in), and Mississippi State University[1] before attending the University of Oklahoma.[2][3]
Savanté Stringfellow, the 2001 World Championships in Athletics long jump silver medalist and five-time United States champion, is the father of Brandon High School (Mississippi) graduate Kennedy Stringfellow.[4][5]
NCAA career
[edit]Kennedy Stringfellow competed in the regional 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships and at the regional 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.[6]
Stringfellow jumped 8.29 m (27 ft 2+1⁄4 in)[7] a University of Oklahoma program record in the long jump at the January 2026 Owen Hewett Invitational in Norman, Oklahoma to earn Southeastern Conference and U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association NCAA Division I Men honors.[8][9]

[edit]Kennedy Stringfellow competed in the Long jump with a 7.46 m (24 ft 5+1⁄2 in) at the 2026 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships in New York[11], placing thirteen overall.[12]
