Mananthavady is one of the 140 state legislative assembly constituencies in Kerala in southern India. It is also one of the seven state legislative assembly constituencies included in Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency.[1] As of the 2021 Assembly elections, the current MLA is O. R. Kelu of CPI(M).

Mananthavady Assembly constituency was established by the 2008 delimitation. Before, it was known as North Wynad from 1965 to 2008.After the 2008 delimitation,Panamaram was added while Kottiyoor and Kelakam was removed and added to Peravoor Assembly constituency.

Demographics

Mananthavady Assembly Constituency,Which Include The Entire Mananthavady Taluk Has Around 47% Hindus,29% Muslims And 24% Christians.[2]This Constituency Also Has The Highest Proportion Of Scheduled Tribes Population In Kerala,With Around 22% Of Total Population.[3]
