Maples is an unincorporated community in Jefferson Township, Allen County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.[1]
History
[edit]A post office was established at Maples in 1854, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1921.[3] The community was named for Lewis S. Maples, a lumber baron.[4]
Demographics
[edit]The United States Census Bureau defined Maples as a census designated place in the 2022 American Community Survey.[5]
