Metoubes (Arabic: مطوبس) is a town in the northern part of the Kafr El Sheikh Governorate of Egypt.

The older names of the town are Netoubes (Arabic: نطوبس) and Netoubes Al-Rumman (Arabic: نطوبس الرمان).[2]
