Sarah Kellen (born Sarah Lyn Kensington; 1979), is an American interior designer known for her association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. She has been described as a key participant in Epstein's sex-trafficking operation, where she allegedly scheduled appointments and coordinated with victims. Kellen was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in Epstein's 2008 non-prosecution agreement and has been referred to as "criminally responsible" by a federal judge during Ghislaine Maxwell's 2022 sentencing. She has claimed to be a victim of Epstein's abuse.[1][2]

Early life

[edit]

Sarah Kellen was born Sarah Lyn Kensington in 1979 in North Carolina, United States. Raised in a Jehovah's Witness family, she reportedly left the faith at age 17 and pursued modeling before entering Epstein's circle in the early 2000s.[3][4]

Career

[edit]

After her involvement with Epstein, Kellen transitioned into interior design. She has operated under various names and maintains a low public profile. As of 2025, she owns luxury properties in Miami and New York City, valued at over $11 million combined.[5]

Association with Jeffrey Epstein

[edit]

Kellen began working for Jeffrey Epstein in the early 2000s, initially as an assistant in his Manhattan office. Witnesses and victims have alleged that she played a central role in Epstein's sex-trafficking scheme, similar to that of Ghislaine Maxwell. Her responsibilities reportedly included scheduling "massages" during which Epstein sexually abused underage girls, coordinating travel for victims, greeting them at properties, leading them to rooms, and preparing spaces for encounters.[6][7]

In 2007, a probable cause affidavit from Palm Beach police accused Kellen of coordinating the recruitment of minors for sexual services. She was one of four women—alongside Nadia Marcinko, Lesley Groff, and Adriana Ross—named as unindicted co-conspirators in Epstein's 2008 non-prosecution agreement in Florida, granting her immunity from federal prosecution at the time.[7][8]

During Ghislaine Maxwell's 2021 trial and 2022 sentencing, Kellen was repeatedly mentioned. U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan described her as a "knowing participant in the criminal conspiracy" and "criminally responsible participant." Victims, including Virginia Giuffre, have named Kellen in lawsuits, accusing her of facilitating abuse.[9][10][11][12]

Kellen has not been charged with any crimes related to Epstein's activities. Following Epstein's death in 2019, she applied for and received compensation from the Epstein Victims' Compensation Program, asserting she was also a victim of his abuse. In 2023, she was sought for deposition in a civil case by the U.S. Virgin Islands against JPMorgan Chase regarding Epstein's banking.[13][14][15]

Personal life

[edit]

Kellen married retired NASCAR driver Brian Vickers in 2015; the couple divorced in April 2025. She has used aliases such as Sarah Kensington and Sarah Vickers. As of 2025, she resides in high-end properties in Miami and New York City. Kellen has largely avoided public statements but has denied wrongdoing through representatives.[16][17]
