Shark Coast FC will join USL League Two for the 2026 season.
Founded in January 2024 as NSB Current FC, the club partnered with Southeast Volusia SC to connect local youth soccer participation to college recruitment and professional opportunities in one of Florida's fastest growing coastal communities. Shark Coast FC will provide a competitive environment that emphasizes excellence, discipline, and character. With its pre-professional team, the club will convene local talent and community stakeholders and create regional economic growth. Shark Coast will also field a USL Academy League team beginning in 2026.
Shark Coast FC has grown strong roots to the greater Volusia County community by delivering year-round soccer offerings. The club hosts recreational and developmental youth programming, three annual tournaments, and seasonal camps and clinics. Shark Coast also administers scholarship initiatives to ensure equal access to the sport. The club is also visible in the community via school visits, beach cleanups, food drives, soccer equipment donations, and more.
Shark Coast FC will compete in Southeast Division of League Two's Southern Conference.[1][2]
