Shreya Chaudhry (born 6 November 1994) is an Indian actress and model. She gained prominence for portraying Tamanna Sharma in the Amazon Prime Video musical drama series Bandish Bandits (2020–2024). Her performance received critical acclaim and significantly boosted her career in the Indian entertainment industry.
Early life and education
[edit]Shreya Chaudhry was born in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She studied at Jankidevi Public School and earned a degree in Mass Communication from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai.[citation needed]
Career

[edit]Chaudhry began her career as a model, appearing in commercials and participating in beauty pageants. Her exposure in advertisements led to opportunities in acting.[1]
Acting debut and breakthrough
[edit]She made her film debut in Dear Maya (2017), where she played the role of Ira.[2]
Her breakout role came with the Amazon Prime Video series Bandish Bandits (2020), where she played Tamanna Sharma, a pop star navigating her identity through classical and modern music. She returned for the second season, which premiered in December 2024.[3]
Other work
