"shortened as Met"?

This is fine as an anecdote, but lends a casual, not-very-encyclopedic tone to the article as a whole. It would probably be better to just refer to them as Metzger in the article. Thoughts? Caleb Stanford (talk) 17:16, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No response here, so I searched for a citation and can't find any definitive evidence, at least not that this is an official name change, and sources vary between the two, so I went ahead and made this change. Ajr being Jewish.

My citation that AJR is Jewish got called an “irrelevant citation”. What should I really do to fix this I cannot just put a twitter/x thread about ajr for that. After all it was a limited IG story. The only other article using just AJR for its title is AJR (motorcycle), which consists of three sentences, one inline source, and two external links. I don't know jack about motorcycles so I won't be proposing deletion on that myself, but I'm not even sure it's notable. Meanwhile, this band has two top 10 albums, a third with a Platinum cert, and a top-ten single in the US. Should be an easy PTOPIC for the initialism itself, and all the other articles listed in AJR which don't use the initialism in their titles can be reached via a hatnote. • Oppose lots of topics are known by this acronym, no evidence the band is the primary topic in terms of long-term significance. If it was the primary topic, I'd expect it to show up prominently in books and scholar searches, but it doesn't—others such as the Jewish organization, radiology journal, and acronym for a person's name are more prominent. Met vs. Metzger

Would like to see some sources on this. My research shows that they were indeed born with the name Metzger, and began using the "Met" surname in the early 2020s. I'd say this is a stage name rather than a legal name change, unless there is evidence otherwise. Years

Okay, so when I was reading the article, I noticed that some of the years are wrong; for example, it says, "The Click (2011)". as well as "Neotheater (2013)". however, in the code it says 2017 and 2019 which are the correct years, can someone fix this or tell me how I can fix it? @YourLocalZakkFromSomewhere: I see some cleanup banners on this article which seem valid: there is an "Expansion needed" template in the 2025-Present subsection of the Career section, including some citations needed templates, and there is an "Expansion needed" template in the Artistry section which also seems valid. The entire music video awards and nominations sections is also uncited. Fixing these would be the bare minimum before this article is ready for GA. Nothing much to write about this band after The Maybe Man tour. The lead is a great summary of the band from their background to their discography and that of the achievements.
