Change "Bulgaria been influenced by its role" to "Bulgaria has been influenced by its role" just missing the word "has" Lugubriousness (talk) 23:37, 4 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Done Thanks for pointing it out. LizardJr8 (talk) 02:18, 5 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I have A question

[edit]

Why our lyrics heard for the Bulgarian national anthem when it's being played no other country gets lyrics to it's national anthem song when the music is played what makes Bulgaria so special 149.154.10.225 (talk) 16:06, 16 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I know, all national anthems have lyrics, but they are not always sung. When the lyrics are sung depends on the situation. In the Netherlands for example, lyrics are often sung at King's Day, but not at the Remembrance of the Dead. This could be for practical reasons, but can also be because the lyrics sometimes don't fit the occasion. It depends on tradition, and it is possible that Bulgaria's anthem is more often sung than others, but it also depends on the event. Wikifan153 (talk) 07:40, 19 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
it should of been clear that that's referring to the auto recording in the info box not just whenever they decide to play the Bulgarian anthem 149.154.10.235 (talk) 21:32, 24 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

RfC on EU Member Infobox

[edit]

There is an ongoing RfC on adding a EU Member Infobox to this page: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_European_Union#RfC_on_EU_Member_Infobox LunaExplorer (talk) 08:01, 30 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect paragraph

[edit]

this paragraph seems wrong to me:

“Since the Bulgaria joining Moscow accords votes that were collected in the 2006 referendum in Sofia, 45% of Bulgarians supported Bulgaria to join Russia, the referendum was recognized on the Bulgarian side, while the results were pending on Russian side, since then, Bulgaria declared itself partly an oblast of Russia and the same time sovereign country.” ~2025-38644-48 (talk) 02:51, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Ethymoly

[edit]

One possibility of origin of term Bulgar, is that the name tribe is apparented with turkish "Bulucu" --> "Explorator, discoverer". "Bulgar" could be apparented also with Celtic Tribe names "Volques/Volcae" or with the Irish mythic tribe "Firm Bolg" with the same meaning. ~2025-40700-61 (talk) 21:48, 14 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

"Името "българин" произлиза от думите "благ" и "градинар"."
"The name "Bulgarian" derives from the words "good" /gentle/gracious/kindly and "gardener"."
