Place of birth
[edit]I would like to question his place of birth. According to his passenger lists, he was born in Tondo, Manila. However, all birth records of Manila in FamilySearch have been removed by the record custodians. Anybody who can access to his birth certificates index? His mother's maiden surname is Montano or Montaño. 103.14.62.145 (talk) 09:52, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Ceferino Garcia. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

I previously added this material in this edit and later added some of the sources now used in the section. As I'm checking my source-text correspondences again, I think that specific citation should be repeated where it directly support another part of the text, after this:
Other sources, however, have noted that an earlier Filipino boxer, Macario Flores, was reported using a similar punch in the 1920s.
The existing GroundedMMA source explicitly mentions the claim that Macario Flores used the punch in 1924. The sentence currently has no inline citation, so I suggest reusing that source here.
