spamming on sci.crypt

For the past month or so (maybe longer), sci.crypt has been been bombarded with spam. So much so that it is, for all practical purposes, unusable. Google searches suggest that it's been spammed on and off, heavily, since last year. Other searches implicate Hipcrime as the software package being used.

Anyway, should this be mentioned in the article? I've never seen so much spam in a newsgroup, however, I also don't normally subscribe to newsgroups for very long periods of time TerraFrost 06:57, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
