Elia, daughter of a famous businessman, watches Vital Signs, performing at a local hotel, not so famous at that time. Elia quickly realizes talent of the group. She asks her father to arrange and finance a concert for the group. Vital signs is seen performing in Marriott Hotel, which in actual life was one of their best early performances. Junaid Jamshed is criticised by his fellows for getting involved in Elia. Junaid continues to date Elia and dedicates her a song, 'Ye Shaam Phir Nahi Aye Gi'.
Meanwhile, Vital Signs gets their first International Tour contract to USA. Junaid wants the greatest share and after failed agreement, leaves the group. Junaid tries to settle a deal wirh contractor, who refuses to take him without his group. Junaid rejoins the group. Junaid inform Elia about the tour. She proposes him to get married and go along, but Junaid refuses explaining that he is neither in love with her nor does he intends to marry her. Elia leaves and attempts suicide, locking herself in her room. She is rescued by her mother. Junaid gets the news, goes to hospital. Junaid asks her to forgive him and than leaves.
