No. Don't forget? Your fellow editors are not here to craft Wikipedia to your liking. You mean censor known facts out of a Wikipedia article about a world-famous person? Are you serious? That would be POV-editing. That a single editor finds certain information distasteful is immaterial if multiple reliable sources contain such information - such as Taylor's conversion to Judaism. Her conversion was done openly and publicly and she was not ashamed of it, so neither should Wikipedia censor it. And her personal life - her marriages, her divorces, her jewelry, her support of AIDS charities, and so on - are all well documented. MOS:CONTEXTBIO is the manual of style guideline that describes what should go in the intro sentence of a bio article - "provide context for that which made the person notable", "neither previous nationalities nor the country of birth should be mentioned in the opening paragraph unless relevant to the subject's notability." There are examples in the MOS guideline that are also instructive on how to describe people. Generally nationalities only get noted when tied to location of notable activities.
Taylor was born in UK to American parents and was thus an American citizen and British subject (not citizen) at the time of her birth. She returned with her parents to the US as a child, was raised in the US, and had her entire notable career in the US. Describing her solely as an American actress is thus justified. She had no acting roles in the UK while she was living there as a child. There are many discussions in the talk page archives for this article about this topic.
