I object to the proposed deletion. The city of Pittsburgh(!) considered Frank Curto notable enough to name a park, a street, and a bridge after him. duff 05:51, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
- Duff: I see that you are the one who created the article. The proposal is actually to merge it into Frank Curto Park, not delete it. I fully support the merge. Curto clearly does not meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines. He was merely a longtime employee of a city department, which earned him some local honors, but that's the extent of it. Being "notable" in Pittsburgh (or any other city) does in no way automatically make one notable for Wikipedia, which is global. This is not even a close call. --76.189.126.40 (talk) 08:27, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
| The content of Frank Curto Park was merged into Frank Curto. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists. For the discussion at that location, see its talk page. |
