Haunted attraction (simulated)Haunted house attractionHaunted house attraction – Per WP:NATURAL. While there are other types that aren't merely houses, it's still referred to in general as a "haunted house". ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 16:25, 1 July 2025 (UTC) — Relisting. Bensci54 (talk) 16:56, 8 July 2025 (UTC) — Relisting. TarnishedPathtalk 02:04, 16 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Haunted house attraction does redirect here, but I don't see how it's any less ambiguous than Haunted attraction (a disambiguation page listing this article and Haunted house). jlwoodwa (talk) 16:53, 8 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, Haunted attraction is at least as clear and is more natural, certainly more concise. Wikinav won't work for Haunted attraction so I'm not sure where most readers navigate from there. My sense is that haunted house is the main term people use for both the "real" ones and the "attractions" but that when specifying haunted attraction it almost always means the subject of this article, although obviously some purportedly haunted locations become "attractions". --MYCETEAE 🍄‍🟫—talk 00:35, 9 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Support, but maybe put the attraction in brackets e.g. haunted house (attraction). Sushidude21! (talk) 10:10, 9 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support move to Haunted attraction and add hatnote for haunted house – For reference, this 2014 discussion is how the current titling of the article happened. There wasn't much participation, and the primary argument was that outside of the US, the term "haunted attraction" can mean real and not simulated, in the context that it may be a real haunted site marketed as a tourist attraction. I am unconvinced that enough evidence has been presented to show that "haunted attraction" is more common that say "haunted site", "haunted area", or even "haunted house". Furthermore, there's no reason we can simply use a hatnote at this article to mention the other possibility per WP:ONEOTHER; a DAB page is not needed here. --GoneIn60 (talk) 12:08, 17 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
