This [1] edit deleted almost all images, which had been apart of this articles award status for most years. It had a diverse collection of pictures of islands. Going forward it would be reasonable to have more actual pictures of different types of islands, as in its current state there is several pictures of birds and plants, and only one (now two) pictures of islands. As a community, maybe we can pick out about 2-3 examples from the old article to include to better represent the diversity and nature of islands. A75 (talk) 15:12, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure I agree. On its own, a picture of an island might not say much. Ideally the goal is to present information about the subject, not display pictures of it. ForksForks (talk) 01:48, 1 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
