There was a template to convert his pant size from inches to centimeters, which I changed to straight text because it didn't produce a grammatically (or numerically) correct result. The template produced "62 in (160 cm) pants"; for encyclopedic writing, it should be "62-inch (157-centimeter) pants". First, since the initial measurement isn't rounded to the tens, the conversion shouldn't be either. Using the common conversion factor of 2.48 cm = 1 in, 62 converts to 157.48, which should then be rounded to 157, not 160. (This strikes me as an error in the template.) Second, according to the Template:Cvt page, "in" should have resulted in "inches", so I don't know what happened there but it would have been incorrect anyway. Third, abbreviations shouldn't be used in formal writing. Fourth, the hyphen is required grammatically and to make sense (and I couldn't get it to work in the template). Lastly, since this is a static number, it's not necessary to have a template formula-- it's never going to have to be converted again, so plain text is adequate. This template must be followed by a complete and specific description of the request, that is, specify what text should be removed and a verbatim copy of the text that should replace it. "Please change X" is not acceptable and will be rejected; the request must be of the form "please change X to Y".
The edit may be made by any autoconfirmed user. Remember to change the |answered=no parameter to "yes" when the request has been accepted, rejected or on hold awaiting user input. This is so that inactive or completed requests don't needlessly fill up the edit requests category. You may also wish to use the {{ESp}} template in the response. To request that a page be protected or unprotected, make a protection request.
Change 'As of 2025' to 'As of 2026' at the end of the category before 'Early Life' as the new year has passed for everybody who uses the Gregorian Calendar globally. Ivorycxx (talk) 22:20, 1 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
