"Male" Genitalia
[edit]Referring to male-typical genitalia on a female as "male genitalia" seems intentionally transphobic. 47.196.237.32 (talk) 01:01, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
- I agree. We should replace all instances of "male genitalia" with "her penis and scrotum." 98.118.115.80 (talk) 23:14, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
- It still says "her male genitalia." As a trans person, this really bothers me. Will wikipedia go on supporting this intentional transphobia? 98.118.115.80 (talk) 20:58, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
- Lol. Well, I believe we should stick to what the reliable sources are saying when it coming to talking about what is between a person's legs. If they use the term "male genitalia", then who are we to talk over them? SparklyNights 02:17, 15 October 2023 (UTC)
- How "reliable" can a source that refers to a woman's genitalia as "male" be? VeroniqueBellamy (talk) 06:54, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
- We had an RfC about this back in 2021, which ended in consensus to use "male genitalia". Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 02:24, 15 October 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, "male genitalia" (and dead-naming) is 100% transphobic; as is other info provided; even editors comments appear transphobic. Dean Dudeist Priest (talk) 12:59, 10 October 2024 (UTC)
- You're welcome to change the first line of these articles (Penis, Testicle) and see where that gets you. And ignoring that the references supplied use the term "male genitalia". 2001:BB6:2CC9:C000:380D:2B33:C685:518 (talk) 22:34, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
2021 Defamation case
[edit]On July 12, 2022 Justice Warren Milman of the BC Supreme core dismissed a defamation launched by Jessica Simpson against Rebel News Network Ltd. Simpson launched the case in April 2021 and sought damages and relief from statements allegedly made by Rebel News which damaged her reputation and vilified her as a person. Justice Milman cited Simpsons tendency to engage in a public area as well as her extensive history of using legal processes or threats of legal action to silence criticism against her as being problematic, and while clouded at times the coverage by Rebel news was in fact in the interest of the public. The claims made by Simpson were weak, [1][2]

Racism
[edit]Do the "turban fu***er" or the N word incidents warrant mentioning in regards to her horrific racial remarks? https://nextshark.com/sikh-man-lgbt-advocate — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2404:F780:8:3137:0:0:0:18 (talk) 05:40, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
- It appears that Ms. Yaniv is a vexatious litigant with strong racist and anti-immigration ideology who uses her gender to "target small businesses for personal financial gain", and to "punish immigrant women" within certain ethnic groups who she perceives as "taking over" according to a Vancouver Sun article which also includes her complaint. I think that someone who is more informed than I am should review this entry for possible rewrites to ensure that the guidelines that makes her notable are factual and prominent in addition to preserving the underlying societal issues that transgender persons face.--Asr1014 (talk) 01:53, 18 July 2025 (UTC)
Trans activist?
[edit]Flashing your penis to several women of Asian descent and then trying to sue them is considered activism now? It used to be considered a crime here in Canada but indecent exposure has made Yaniv a celebrity 2607:FEA8:45D6:8000:350E:BCA8:65A3:8D4D (talk) 07:22, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
- 'trans activist' is unsourced here, except to Yaniv's own claims. Nor has any example been shown of them performing any activism in this direction, other than for their own personal gain or foibles. Per WP:BLP it just shouldn't be here. Andy Dingley (talk) 18:55, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
- Exactly! 2607:FEA8:45D6:8000:84E:E2E0:EB2C:68BC (talk) 08:41, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
- Last discussed here. It is not true that the descriptor is sourced only to Yaniv's claims. We have multiple reliable sources (cited at the end of the first sentence) that use their own voice to describe Yaniv in this way. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 13:42, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
