By Montevideo convention of 1933 Palestine is not a country still. Please add links for UN voting approval create as a country and than add the dates of official creation. Else change to Autonomy, or at least to protostate Mihinius (talk) 13:55, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply] The Montevideo convention has no relevance to the question, since the only parties to it are in the Americas. AndyTheGrump (talk) 14:00, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply] Whether an object can be described using the word "country" has no dependence on the Montevideo convention, the UN or "dates of official creation". The many meanings of the word "country" are covered in our Country article. Sean.hoyland (talk) 15:06, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply] If we are have no dependence on Montevideo convention, and giving the statement of country to each item that pretend to be a country, we have to repair a lot of articles. as example: Catalonia Transnistria Northern Cyprus etc All I want to say if we use word country by any definition, we have to use it in all articles. Wikipedia has no policy or guideline that even remotely suggests that we have to impose the usage of a word in one article on the content of another article entirely. That is just absurd.
