Subdivision origin
[edit]Another reason for groupism came from the profession followed by the differnt groups. As people changed professions, they also had to change names to reflect those professions. However they needed to differentiate themselves from people who were already using those professional names. So as people took up farming they had to call themselves Vellala. However since other groups were using Vellala as title, different groups with additional names were created. Thus were created the various groups of Vellala.

relation to Dalit
[edit]Is this a region specific Dalit cast? does the article cover a distinct, subset, blurred border with Dalit? to me and from the content it sounds as a group that happened to be Dalit; please correct me if I'm mistaken.--Uwe a (talk) 01:06, 5 May 2016 (UTC)
- The answer to the first question is yes. I don't understand the second question. Cheers, Kautilya3 (talk) 02:22, 5 May 2016 (UTC)

Iyothee Thass is not a pariayar elite as mentioned. Bergunder's article equates elite to social advancement due to the aid of english colonization which waned due to brahamnisim (pg.67. Contested past). Mentioning Iyothee thass as elite without contextualising it is dangerous and gives rise to the assumption that there are elites within Dalits. Message from Sathasenthil
[edit]- The confused statement of Robert Caldwell(foreigner), Srinivasa Aiyangar(Sanskrit) and Gustav Solomon Oppert( foreigner-Sanskrit) in Paraiyar page and it's the related pages of wiki just try to say Paraiyar and it's many subdivisions are only a drum beater and a slave.
- It is not concluded by any of the writer, their statement in the documentary books itself confused so that the writer of the wiki page also getting confused, because they are neither a Indian origin nor a Paraiyar(Paraiyan, Pariyaa, Pariah, Paharia, Parair, Pahariya, Parahiya, Paree, Pariyar, bara, barai etc...., thousand of subdivisions all over India and Sri Langa).
- In India there are many Dravidian regions named by the authors Robert Caldwell(foreigner), Srinivasa Aiyangar(Sanskrit) and Gustav Solomon Oppert( foreigner-Sanskrit)etc.. in their books, but the name Dravidian is not in any Tamil Literature : There are South Dravidian, Northern Dravidian, Western Dravidian, East Dravidian and Central Dravidian. The Sanskrit background wiki page editor refers only to those books and points out that South India is only Dravidian region. It affects the archaeological history of Tamil influence in North India. It has been a recurring mistake for a long time.
- Gustav Solomon Oppert is saying Paraiyar is a "Hillman". It is partially correct (not only a Hillman), we have to consider Tolkappiyam(epic poem). There is a lot of information in Tamil Sangam literature and the evidence of Tamil script in Hills and ancient Tamil literature.

- @ChildrenWillListen,
- I am Sathasenthil, from TamilNadu-India belongs to the great ancient Tamil family Paraiyar, trying to update the Paraiyar and its related tiled pages all over India and Sri Langa. This is one of the ancient families among four( Paanan, Paraiyan, Thudiyan and Kadamban) in Tamil ancient time, to bring these pages as a reliable source with clean content we need a reference from Tamil literature books Tholkappiyam, Purnananuru, Silapathikaram etc... The actual pages of the Tamil community(family) all over India and Sri lanka have been influenced by Sanskrit authors' books, wiki users of indo-aryan(Sanskrit) background who violate the entire Tamil History, culture, literature, tradition, gods etc... in wiki pages even though Tamil is a distinct language from Sanskrit. Because of the violation facing so many issues in real life all over India and Sri lanka. The reference documents written in great English by the great writers and readers are of Sanskrit.
- The confused statement of Robert Caldwell(foreigner), Srinivasa Aiyangar(Sanskrit) and Gustav Solomon Oppert( foreigner-Sanskrit) in Paraiyar page and it's the related pages of wiki just try to say Paraiyar and it's many subdivisions are only a drum beater and a slave.
- In India there are many Dravidian regions named by the authors Robert Caldwell(foreigner), Srinivasa Aiyangar(Sanskrit) and Gustav Solomon Oppert( foreigner-Sanskrit) in their books, but the name Dravidian is not in any Tamil Literature : There are South Dravidian, Northern Dravidian, Western Dravidian, East Dravidian and Central Dravidian.
It is partially correct (not only a Hillman), we have to consider Tolkappiyam(epic poem) . There is a lot of information in Tamil sangam literature and the evidence of Tamil script in Hills and language Tamil.
- Poombarai village(பூம்பாறை கிராமம்-Pūmpāṟai kirāmam)Parai Murugan Temple (பறை முருகன் கோயில்-Paṟai murukaṉ kōyil), The Parai Murugan Temple, also known as the Kulanthai Velappar Temple, is a Murugan temple located in Poombarai village, about 20 km from Kodaikanal(Hill station) in Tamil Nadu, all Murugan Temples are in Kunru It's renowned for its ancient statue of Lord Murugan.
- Tolkappiyam(epic poem) is the starting point of Tamil language history, culture etc.. and we need to consider the Old Tamil languages. The sanskrit users of wiki make editing on this page mixing sanskrit info vivolating the page, wasting time and effort of Tamil editors.
- George L. Hart's analysis and agreed ancient Tamil literature Purananuru poem translation is incorrect in Paraiyar wiki page itself, to update i could not find any book with correct Translation of Purananuru poems in English, it cause a recurring errors, example, European vocabulary to mean the ‘ostracised’. https://indianexpress.com/article/research/pariah-why-the-name-of-a-tamil-dalit-caste-entered-european-vocabulary-to-mean-the-ostracised-10045194/
- Tamil|Tamizh(correct pronunciation) is a distinct language, don't confuse the Sanskrit history and its culture with the Tamil, old Tamil, middle Tamil, current Tamil languages. It is confusing in all wiki pages.
- The term "Dravida" has its roots in Sanskrit, While "Dravidian" is often associated with the Tamil language and culture, it's not solely a Tamil word.
- Dalit" is not a Tamil word. It originates from Sanskrit and late Marathi (Indo-Aryan language) meaning "broken" or "oppressed". Dalit is a vernacular form of the Sanskrit दलित (dalita). In Classical Sanskrit, this means "divided, split, broken, scattered".
- In India Dalit Politicians are standing out against Sanskrit language and its Hidndu varna system, but they themselves use Dalit(Ambedkarite, they don't know the meaning, it is just because of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar used). It causes recurring mistakes, for example, European vocabulary to mean the ‘ostracised’. In India all Ambedkarite must be understood to overcome the root cause of the issue.
- We are Tamil|Tamizh(Paanan,Paraiyan,Thudiyan,Kadamban and thousends of subdivisions), We are neither the Dalit nor the Dravidian.
- In India and Sri Lanka we are called Dravidian or Dalit by the Indian politicians but Indian Government Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
- As Indian constitution principals we are Indian citizens, we are neither the Hindu nor supporters of Hinduism.
- Hindu Varna system is not an Indian official document, it is not part of the country's legal or administrative structure. Wiki User:Ankitak03/sandbox, Jad Mada/Hinduism and and Giveaway285(blocked user) created "Own work" image as Indian Caste System.jpg uploaded on 2017-08-27.
- There are two images about Hindu varna.
- Image url : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Indian_Caste_System.jpg#filehistory
- Question: 1. Every ten years will they introduce a new Varna and update?
- Question: 2. Is wiki encouraging indo-aryan sanskrit background users for vivolation Tamil History?
- Question: 3. How many gods are there for indo aryan(Sanskrit) in india?
- Question: 4. India is a Union of States and there are many languages. The system of varna is only from Sanskrit (Indo-aryan languages) then, How can it be for all Indian people? Tamil is a distinct language from sanskrit. How can it be applied for Tamil people?
- How can it be applied for Tamil origin lives all over india in different Diravidian regions?
- Why don't you ask the right questions of indo-aryan(sanskrit) users before updating their content in wiki?
- Because of the indo aryan-varna system every citizen in India is affected, they are moving to different Religions (Christian, Buddhism, Muslim and Jain). These different religions also have been affected by Varna because these religions mixed with the indo-aryan sanskrit people. That is the only one reason we are fighting against the varna system.
- The core Indian citizens who are fighting against the varna system are declared as outcasts by indo-aryan(sanskrit).
- Tamil |Tamizh Family(Kudikal) chart, it is not a caste system. It is a family hierarchy as in the below chart.
- Explanation:
- This below is my full name that explains the hierarchy.

- Sathan(family name)
- Veeran(great-great-grandfather)
- Ramasamy(great-grandfather)
- Renganathan(grandfather)
- Selvakesavan(father name)
- Senthilkumar(myname)
- Sathan/sathu/saathu/cittan/chattan/sathanaar(Pronunciation differ.) is a family name under the ancient dwelling(குடியிருப்பு-Kuṭiyiruppu-Citizen) name Paraiyan from Pruananuru, it is not a caste in ancient time, we could not find the word caste in any ancient Tamil literature, it is a dwelling(குடியிருப்பு-Kuṭiyiruppu -many family)(குடி-Kuṭi single family) There are four name of citizen (குடி-Kuṭi) in ancient time, current castes of Tamil and Dravidian regions as mentioned in point no 2 and its languages and its current caste comes under the parent root of four ancient family {Paanan, Paraiyan, Thudiyan and Kadmban (குடியிருப்பு-Kuṭiyiruppu - four family, குடிப்பட்டம்-Kuṭippaṭṭam-family names)}. In ancient Tamil literature Cilappatikāram, the Hero Kovalan has the surname Sathan(Maasathu- a big sathu or a great sathu or an elder sathu). Some chettiar communities have this surname(family name).
- Note: The Name Sathan-சாத்தன் understood in foreigner as "Devil", In Tamil it is (சைத்தான்-Caittāṉ-Divel). So don't get confused.
- Nattar is the surname of Heroine Kannaki, It is under the umbrella of Paraiyar and the surname in Kallar, Nadar communities and many in TamilNadu.
- Sevukan is one of the surnames of Paraiyar umbrella, Tamil Valaiyar community also has the same surname.

- Final conclusion ,
- Parai- HillMan, (AthiKudi-"முதல் குடி" Ancient First Family), Lord Siva or Lord Muruga, are living in the Hillstation(Kurunji) Land. who has written the Tamil Script, make the Tamil Letters. The Tamil Language is implemented by Lord Muruga and Lord siva. one who speaks a first language, old Tamil.

- Parai- Name of ancient durm (This can be played by any one who have the ability and wisdom)
- Parai - cave
- Parai- cave dweller in ancient time
- It will be a great appreciation for not mixing the Indo-Aryans language Sanskrit's history, culture, caste system, literature, gods into the great distinct language Tamil , removing false varna new image Indian_Caste_System.jpg and maintaining varna caste system are only related to sanskrit and it supporter and speakers, it is not for entre Tamil people who live in the world as a Tamil Origin.
- Thanks,
