That is misleading, yes is true almost All turntables can be suceptible to acoustic feedback, specially if turntable & speaker are on the same surface, but Technics SL-1200 Mk2 became popular because the opposite, was designed to be resistant to Acoustic Feedback. example video test: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNzMcH2ZbtU&t=1396s
