References 3-5 are the same source, and should have the same number. Not sure how to fix that, though. // Habj 23:02, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tango Oscar

[edit]

I recall when the Costa Concordia grounded, the passenger videos had them paging "Tango Uniform " over the intercom to alert crew that there were passenger injuries.

Use of Mr Skylight on the MS Estonia

[edit]

The BBC had stated that this was "indicating that crew were to shut watertight doors to seal parts of the hull."

The Estonia final report stated that the Mr Skylight done over the PA indicated a fire emergency, perhaps inadvertently, and that what should have been used is "Mr Skylight" no prefix or "Mr Skylght Evac" and the numbers of the groups. The systems engineer stated that the watertight doors were closed after the Mr Skylight announcement was done. WhisperToMe (talk) 13:04, 27 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

"Mr. Skylight" was used in the Caribbean Fantasy incident and the Universe Explorer. I do not know if any secondary sources discuss these two uses of "Mr. Skylight". WhisperToMe (talk) 13:31, 27 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
