"Four weeks after the event, the Hart family sued the WWF over how dangerous and poorly planned the stunt was, and that the harness system was defective." You can't "sue someone that something". 2A00:23C5:FE1C:3701:7563:5B9B:BBF8:16C1 (talk) 12:32, 19 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The claim that the WWWF quietly re-joined the NWA in 1971 is not substantiated by any evidence. Please change the sentence "Mondt left the promotion in the late 1960s and although the WWWF had previously withdrawn from the NWA, McMahon quietly re-joined in 1971." to "Mondt left the promotion in the late 1960s."  Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Toast1454TC 13:37, 1 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Article needs more sources

[edit]

This article is missing sources on many sections, hence I have added a "more sources needed" template. Also it uses sources like IMDb at places, so "better sources needed" template has been placed too.

Instead of edit-warring User:Vjm827 and removing the templates, you should try improving the article. If you keep this up, I'll have to invariably complain you. Linkin Prankster (talk) 05:01, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Adding templates is just lazy...if you feel like it needs improving, no one is stopping you from doing it. Slapping a template on an article just screams of pretentiousness - "The article isn't up to my standards, but I'm too important to fix it myself, so let the 'little people' do it". Vjm827 (talk) 04:58, 10 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I suggest you tone down your language first User:Vjm827, it's not like you have done anything else on the article other than edit warring. Linkin Prankster (talk) 07:30, 10 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
What's wrong with my language? I didn't use profanity or lob any personal attacks. I just think slapping a template on an article is both lazy and snobby (and that applies to anyone who does it...not any particular editor). Snobby in that one likes to critique, and lazy in that one doesn't want to do the supposedly needed work themselves to fix it and dumps it off on others. And I have done plenty of work on this article under my former name of Vjmlhds, so don't give me "You haven't done anything on this article". And 2 reverts does not an edit war make, so that is a loaded accusation. Vjm827 (talk) 15:08, 10 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
If you did contribute on another account, then I apologise. I wasn't aware. Regardless, your behaviour has been extensively rude and full of insults and chiding language since the beginning. I don't want to lose my own cool here, so you leave my no choice but to complain. Linkin Prankster (talk) 15:12, 10 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Nothing wrong with my behavior...just pointing out my take on templates. Being rude is name calling and personal insults - things which I have not done. Stating why I don't like a particular Wiki policy...fully within bounds. Vjm827 (talk) 15:23, 10 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
