Tamchal (Persian: تمچال)[a] is a village in Kurka Rural District[4] of the Central District in Astaneh-ye Ashrafiyeh County, Gilan province, Iran.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 718 in 196 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 805 people in 240 households.[6] At the 2016 census, the population of the village was 885 people in 267 households.[2]
