This template's initial visibility currently defaults to autocollapse, meaning that if there is another collapsible item on the page (a navbox, sidebar, or table with the collapsible attribute), it is hidden apart from its title bar; if not, it is fully visible.

To change this template's initial visibility, the |state= parameter may be used:

• {{Adam Warren|state=collapsed}} will show the template collapsed, i.e. hidden apart from its title bar.
• {{Adam Warren|state=expanded}} will show the template expanded, i.e. fully visible.

The parameter: |type= can be added to the template. Setting include:

• |type=comic which will place the article into Category:Comics by Adam Warren, and
• |type=work which will place the article into Category:Works by Adam Warren,

Please note that:

• The sorting will be by the pagename or the default set with {{DEFAULTSORT}}.
• With normal placement of the navigation template, the category will precede "manually" added categories. Care should be taken.
