This template is used to create a reference for a statement of First Nations ownership/affiliation in Victoria, Australia.
It produces the reference"Map of formally recognised Traditional Owners" (Map). First Peoples - State Relations (Victoria). State Government of Victoria. Retrieved 1 December 2025.
Usage
[edit]Use within <ref></ref> tags. Eg: <ref>{{FirstNationsRefVIC|access-date=1 December 2025}}</ref>.
The template calls {{cite map}}, and therefore requires |access-date= to be set.
The template is intended for use within {{Infobox Australian place}}, but can also be used in normal article text. If it is used in both, <ref name=referencename>[call to this template]</ref> should be used in the infobox, and <ref name=referencename/> (without a call to this template) in the other locations.
