The Ref icc template returns the citation of one of the International Chronostratigraphic Charts, which are published by the International Commission on Stratigraphy.
Usage
[edit]The use of this template is to unify the International Chronostratigraphic Chart source across all the articles where it's present. Refer to the name "ICS" (quotes included) when referring to the reference of the latest version, and "ICS [YYYY]/[MM]" for the archived versions.[a] Additionally, please note that to edit the access date, you must edit the template itself.

- ^ Due to legacy purposes and the common nomenclature, the references are referred to with "ICS" instead of "ICC". For an ease of confusion, the alternate name
{{ref ics}}can be used for this template.
Parameters
[edit]The following parameter is used to edit what source this template displays:
- version: The version of the chart, formated as "YYYY/MM". If his value is left blank, then it defaults to the current version.
