About me
[edit]My name is Lawrence Cheung, I have been editing WP for 20 years using another login which I will not publicly disclose for confidentiality reasons. I am a Business English instructor at the Assas University. This account is therefore a WP:SOCK account, declared to the WMF, set up exclusively to follow my students' work.

The assignment
[edit]I started a course page of my project here, since disappeared. My students are 3rd year undergraduates in Economics and Management. They have been assigned to create a wikipedia article (working in pairs) on certain topics, specifically on economics as it relates to Art, Crypto, Healthcare, Climate, or War.
Students are expected to respect all of WP's policies and guidelines, and as such conduct themselves in a collegial manner. They are required to learn the rules and pillars of Wikipedia and conduct a review of one DYK nomination as part of their assignment, after which the should research and present an article which is original work that will be in turn nominated for DYK.
