This is a Wikipediauser page. This is not an encyclopedia article or the talk page for an encyclopedia article. If you find this page on any site other than Wikipedia, you are viewing a mirror site. DankJae is busy in real life and may not respond swiftly to queries.
'Ello! Hi, I'm DankJae, which can be shortened to Jae,[iii] a Wikipedian based in Clwyd, Wales. My contributions mainly relate to Wales, particularly North Wales. Although may wander off every now and then. :)

I am not perfect, I may make mistakes, so please do raise them with me. I aim to learn.
I am not aware of every policy/style on Wikipedia, or may forget, so kindly raise such issues with me if it is recurring.
I may be a bit abbrasive sometimes, especially during an escalating edit war and trying to keep the status quo in absence of consensus or agreement. I don't intend to be too harsh and sometimes regret some wording, but always happy to compromise in cooler temperatures if any discussion is raised to paint a way forward.
I do react to edit wars, will admit never fully understood 3RR but always try to be within it, but happy to compromise if it is made into a discussion as it is easier to explain than in an edit summary.
Noting on the edit summary, as it has to be short, you may be bombarded with shortcuts to Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Happy to explain them if needed, especially to newbies (it is daunting), or point to User:DankJae/arguments for my most regular ones. Of course, I can be a bit incorrect in my interpretation of any of them.
May I mis-understand some things? Yes, happy to be corrected (as long as it makes sense or more agree with such). If there is a dispute I always encourage a Wikipedia:Third opinion, if another editor disagrees with me and it stays at that, then I am happy to accept it and move on. There are indeed more important things.
I have an alternative account named DankJae II for mainly digitally insecure circumstances, or for some edits I can't do on this account such as requiring the base source editor or using the modern 2022 vector display. This account uses the old Vector and 2017 source editor.
Regular edits
I do however do the following edits regularly and indiscriminately:
Match place-names with article titles when discussing the modern day, per MOS:GEO and Wikipedia:NCGN. (A place should generally be referred to consistently by the same name as in the title of its article) If a move occurred, then the new name is applied.
