I work for EF Education First looking after the EF Standard English Test and the EF English Proficiency Index. In the past I have directly edited pages on which I have a COI but thanks to the education efforts of several generous editors here, I no longer do.

Any COI edits I now request go through the "peer review" process, which is only possible thanks to the volunteers giving time here. My attempt at recognizing that dynamic (paid editors exploiting the time of volunteer editors for the benefit of a company) is to review COI edit requests on subjects where I have no COI. Over time, this is helping me better understand the Wikipedia project and in particular, COI editing's impact. I am always grateful for feedback from other editors.
