About me
[edit]I come to Wikipedia to learn about stuff, random stuff, stuff I often know nothing about. And then I find myself editing articles on subjects that I previously knew nothing about, having to search, and re-search for sources of information to cite here. Sometimes for articles about subjects that I don't even care about. But I care about the truth, and I care about information.
Do I care about the intricacies of binomial nomenclature? Not really, but I do find it interesting, and funny, that the introduction to the article on that subject contains this really awkward bit of text: "the system is also called binominal nomenclature,[2] with an "n" before the "al" in "binominal", which is not a typographic error, meaning "two-name naming system".[1]". because apparently, it has to, in order to avoid excessively repeated edits of itself, and the only reason I found that was because of the empty "not a typo" tag, which IMhO should NOT be "fixed"!
my wiki editing skills are a bit rusty from disuse. Maybe I'll try and fill this out more later. If you really want to know more about me, just ask on my talk page sometime.
When you see me make a mistake, screw something up, please let me know, as I'm sure you probably will; just wanna throw this out there to assure you that I have good intentions.
