I'm a staff writer at the Eganville Leader.

I understand that I should't be writing about the paper I work for, but seeing as it’s closing permanently in about a month, I’d really like to get it approved this time around. It will be shut down by the end of February. It would be greatly appreciated if I could get this page up so perhaps there is some very slid shadow of a doubt that MAYBE, maybe someone will be able to save it before it’s fully doomed.

I will flesh this out more but I’d like to keep working on the page so it can be approved.

Suffice to say: it has been around for an eternity.
