I patrol recent changes and filter logs. Reliable sources and verifiability is important to me. Once in a while I run my watchlist through the InternetArchiveBot to check for link rot and rescue needs.
I mostly work on articles related to geography and transportation, especially in my part(s) of the world, with occasional edits in music, linguistics, libraries, and biographies. I currently live in Milwaukie, Oregon, United States. I worked in special ed and public library (where I still volunteer). I have a degree in linguistics and worked as a contract linguist. I'm currently working on a geomatics degree and also training to become a speech language pathologist. I am a former government employee and current public body member; see COI disclosure.
Right now I am fairly busy in life with the things I want to do and the things I don't really want to do, and have fairly limited capacity to substantially contribute to Wikipedia other than antivandal work. I am also not a very online person. Please remember that editing Wikipedia isn't my job (and hopefully not yours either[a]); it is a side hobby and not my whole life. If you've been expecting a respond from me but haven't got one, it's usually because I am tending to other parts of life. I will try to get back to you when I can. Whenever I am on here, I try to be kind, and you should too.
