Your submission at Articles for creation: Helena Teede (October 27)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Perryprog were:
This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources.
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
The comment the reviewer left was:
References should be to specific articles or books published in reliable sources, not just the landing page of a website. Additionally, please remove all external links from the body of the article (these are the links with the little square and an arrow at the end of them). See this page for info on why. This is also still incredibly promotional, and reads like an overt advertisement. This will need to be just about fully rewritten to be in the tone expected for articles about living people.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

COI query

Hi ATrHamilton. I can see that you were previously asked about your relationship with Helena Teede and did not give a response. You've also uploaded an image of Teede as your own work, which means you are indicating that you personally took that photograph of her. Can you please disclose whether you have a personal or professional relationship with Teede? MCE89 (talk) 04:39, 3 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies, i did not take that photo. Nor did I mean to indicate that I did. It is Helena Teede's official photo from the the 2023 International PCOS Guideline. https://www.monash.edu/__data/assets/pdf_file/0003/3379521/Evidence-Based-Guidelines-2023.pdf

Your submission at Articles for creation: Robert Norman (December 18)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by ChrysGalley was:
The content of this submission includes material that does not meet Wikipedia's minimum standard for inline citations. Please cite your sources using footnotes. For instructions on how to do this, please see Referencing for beginners. Thank you.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Thank you for this article, the subject is definitely notable, under WP:ACADEMIC and also the award of the Order of Australia. So that would suggest an article in mainspace.

However there is a policy under WP:BLP that any fact that could potentially be challenged needs an inline citation to a reliable. That is pretty much in place, except for the section entitled Recognition, where around half the statements are not sourced.

Several valid approaches apply to resolve this. One is to simply delete - for now - those unsourced lined. While interesting and relevant, some entries are not so significant overall. Otherwise, each line could be sourced. Pragmatically a bit of a mix?

Articles can evolve over time so items can be added in when sources are found. We are also mainly a text encyclopedia, so prefer verbiage over lists, but that's honoured in the breach, mostly, and is a minor point.

If the submitted editor knows or is connected to the subject, this should be identified via WP:COI.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
